What is hockey 4 kids?
Must be turning between 5 years and 11 years in the current year.
does my child need to wear long socks?
Long socks are not required, as we provide shin pads with velcro. However, many participants prefer to wear long socks because they're not accustomed to the feel of shin pads.
what if my child has never played hockey before - will they be okay?
Hockey is very accomodating to all new players. The sport caters for all levels from the beginner to the elite and encourages particpation, fun and development. It is a true family sport for all ages.
do i have to wait with my child?
An adult needs to be present with your child for the duration of the session.
can i take photos of my child participating?
There should not be photography or videos taken of other participants to protect their privacy and consent of being captured - this includes others being in the background of a picture of your child. Any photography or video needs to be solo, and not at the disruption of the groups' overall activitiies (i.e. before or after the session).
