2027 Masters Representative Program Details

Age & Eligibility Requirements for Selection Group

• Must be a Full-Time Primary Registered BWHA Member.
• Casual 10 Memberships will not be accepted for players intending to participate in State Championships, as per Hockey Queensland's regulations.
• Masters players must be turning 34 or over in 2027.

Tournament Date

Masters State Championships: 11th June - 13th June, Toowoomba

Costs

• Trial Nomination Fee per Player: $65.00 
• Tournament Cost per Selected Player: TBA

Self-Organised Travel and Accommodation

BWHA will organise accommodation for selected players. Players are responsible for organising their own travel, washing their uniforms, and providing their own meals.

Trial Dates

• Trial 1: Saturday 20 February, 7:00am - 12:00pm
• Trial 2: Sunday 28 February, 4:00pm - 10:00pm
• Trial 3: Sunday 14 March, 6:30am - 11:30am
• Wet Weather Trial: Sunday 21 March

First Aid At Trials

BWHA does not have a designated first aid officer at trials in order to help reduce costs. However, the BWHA staff member is qualified in first aid. Players should approach them immediately if any assistance is needed.

• Sunday 11 April (Downey Park/Uniform Fitting)
• Sunday 18 April 
• Sunday 16 May
• Sunday 23 May
• Sunday 30 May
• Sunday 6 June

Important Information

BWHA anticipates entering seven teams into the Masters State Championships. This will only be possible if we receive enough coach, umpire, technical official and manager nominations to support all seven teams.

If you are available and willing to take on one of these roles, please submit your nomination. Your support is essential to giving our Masters athletes the opportunity to compete at State Championships.
