2027 U12 Representative Program Details

Age & Eligibility Requirements for Selection Group

• Must be a Full-Time Primary Registered BWHA Member.
• Age Group: U12 players must be born in 2015 or 2016 (turning 11 or 12 in 2027).  Exceptions for players directly invited by BWHA through talent identification at a development program.
• The team the player is registered in must be from their Clubs U12 turf team and/or top under 12 grass team or an U14 team if playing higher.
• If a club has two teams in their clubs top grass division, only players from the club’s top team are eligible to trial. For example, if a club has two U12A teams, only players listed in the top U12A team can nominate. At the start of the season, clubs must identify their top and second teams when affiliating.

• Trial 1: Sunday 23 May, 6:45am - 12:30pm
• Trial 2: Sunday 30 May, 6:45am -12:30pm
• Trial 3: Sunday 6 June, 6:45am - 12:30pm
• Wet Weather Date: Sunday 13 June, 6:45am - 12:30pm

First Aid At Trials

BWHA does not have a designated first aid officer at trials in order to help reduce costs. However, the BWHA staff member is qualified in first aid. Players should approach them immediately if any assistance is needed.

• Sunday 11 July
• Sunday 18 July (Training Camp - 7:00am - 1:30pm - TBA)
• Sunday 25 July

Important Information

BWHA anticipates entering five teams into the U12 Southern Cross Tournament. This will only be possible if we receive enough coach, umpire, technical official and manager nominations to support all five teams.

If you are available and willing to take on one of these roles, please submit your nomination. Your support is essential to giving our U12 athletes the opportunity to compete at Southern Cross.
