Self-Organised Travel and Accommodation

To prioritise player safety, especially in relation to underage members, athletes are required to self-organise their accommodation to help ensure they are in a safe environment and allow for adequate supervision. It also allows families to choose accommodation that suits their budget and, where possible, enables athletes to stay with relatives. This can help ease the financial burden often associated with representative tournaments.

Trial Dates

  • Trial 1: Sun 7 March, 4:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Trial 2: Sun 14 March, 5:00pm - 8:30pm

First Aid At Trials

BWHA does not have a designated first aid officer at trials in order to help reduce costs. However, the BWHA staff member is qualified in first aid. Players should approach them immediately if any assistance is needed.

Compulsory Training for Selected Players

  • Sunday 21 March
  • Sunday 11 April
  • Sunday 18 April
  • Sunday 25 April (Night Training - Anzac Day)
  • Sunday 2 May
  • Sunday 9 May

Important Information

BWHA anticipates entering three teams into the U18 State Championships. This will only be possible if we receive enough coach, umpire, technical official and manager nominations to support all three teams.

If you are available and willing to take on one of these roles, please submit your nomination. Your support is essential to giving our U18 athletes the opportunity to compete at State Championships.

Nominations Close

Deadline: Monday 8 February at 9:00am

Late nominations will not be accepted.
